Location: Princeton, NJ (100% Onsite)

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 / year

We are a premier residential construction firm specializing in $3M–$7M custom homes and luxury renovations. We are looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to own our financial lifecycle and partner directly with our Project Management teams.

What You’ll Do

• Financial Stewardship: Manage the full bookkeeping cycle across multiple active luxury projects.
• Job Costing Excellence: Verify subcontractor invoices against budgets and approved change orders with precision.
• Proactive Analysis: Identify budget inconsistencies and financial irregularities before they become issues.
• Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers and leadership to support operational decision-making.
• Daily Operations: Handle reconciliations, payroll entry via QuickBooks, and prepare reports for weekly finance meetings.

What You Bring

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in a highly transactional, project-based environment.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise is a plus) and Excel.
• Mindset: An analytical thinker who doesn't just process transactions but understands the "why" behind the numbers.
• Communication: Comfort interacting with vendors, subs, and leadership teams.
