Company: Confidential (Represented by Talent Harbor) | Location: New York, NY (On-site / Hybrid — 90% in-office requirement) | Employment Type: Full-time | Compensation: $160,000 Base Salary ~25% Performance Bonus ($200,000 OTE)
About the Opportunity
Talent Harbor has partnered with an elite, NYSE-listed financial institution specializing in real estate finance and capital markets management. Managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio, our client has doubled its market cap over the past year and raised over $2.5B in capital since 2022.
We are seeking a highly quantitative Investor Relations Analyst to join their lean, high-performing corporate finance team in New York City. Reporting directly to the Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets, this is an execution-heavy, data-driven support role (non-client facing) focused on macroeconomic analysis, financial modeling, and strategic corporate storytelling.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Impact)
- Master the Storytelling: Take ownership of the preparation and design of quarterly earnings presentations, investor decks, executive scripts, and fact sheets.
- Own the Market Intelligence: Track and analyze sell-side consensus estimates, maintain Wall Street analyst model summaries, and perform rigorous weekly competitor/peer benchmarking.
- Drive the Analytics: Maintain and optimize complex Excel database trackers monitoring institutional investor activity, ownership shifts, and market metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with internal Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to harvest accurate numbers and maintain flawless regulatory compliance.
- Operate with Traction: Work within a structured accountability framework (EOS), tracking performance against clear weekly scorecards and solving bottlenecks proactively.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience within Investor Relations (IR), Equity Research, Investment Banking, or a highly quantitative corporate finance function.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced, standalone proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. You must be fully capable of adjusting, updating, and building data trackers from scratch.
- Macro Mindset: A genuine interest in macroeconomics, public market mechanics, fixed income, or real estate debt structures.
- Low-Ego, High-Ownership: A "no jerks," "no territory" mindset. You are eager to tackle high-level financial analysis but equally willing to roll up your sleeves for operational and administrative logistics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred).
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience utilizing a Bloomberg Terminal or FactSet.
- Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) / Traction corporate framework.
Why Apply?
- Unmatched Proximity: Direct access, mentorship, and daily exposure to C-suite executive decision-makers (CEO, CFO, Head of IR) in a lean, 50-person corporate environment.
- Premium Compensation: A competitive $160k base with a robust bonus structure reaching an OTE of ~$200k.
- Exceptional Culture: A values-first organization that actively champions kindness, collaboration, and zero corporate politics.
🚨 MANDATORY APPLICATION NOTE:
Our client views deep preparation and proactive curiosity as a core competitive advantage. To be considered for this role, all applicants will be required during the initial screen to demonstrate they have reviewed public investor materials and can accurately articulate the mechanics of the firm's financial business model. Failure to complete this prerequisite will result in an immediate disqualifier.
