- The client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (Sr.QAA) to join its Team.
- The client is a state program that combines Medicaid and the Children s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). It provides its members with healthcare access, such as doctor visits, prescription drugs, hospital stays, and many other important medical services. The client is developing a strategic plan to streamline and combine its current eligibility and enrollment processes through the One Health initiative.
- Eligibility and enrollment processes for MAGI members, currently serviced through the Health Insurance Exchange (HIX), and non-MAGI members, currently serviced through the legacy mainframe system.
- The system will be modernized on a modular basis to provide a single point of access for individuals and/or families applying for public health insurance benefits.
- The modernization will provide common data storage and eligibility determination processes and rules for all Medicaid programs.
- The first step in porting operations and systems to a new infrastructure will be to rehost the Natural/Adabas�mainframe system in the AWS cloud.
- The Sr.QAA will assist in the testing activities for the current eligibility mainframe system, supporting integrated services, and the AWS Cloud rehosting project in support of the One Health Initiative. The analyst will design and develop test cases and execute them using manual and automated methods.
- The Sr.QAA will conduct requirements analysis, develop day-over-day test metric reporting, and review test cases and scenarios to ensure software compliance.
- They will also work closely with the Test Manager to oversee the day-to-day test execution, defect tracking, reporting results, and facilitate daily status calls.
- A thorough analysis to comprehensively understand business requirements the Mainframe and Web enterprise systems.
- Participate in JAD sessions and technical walkthroughs as required and contribute to sorting out details as needed.
- Conduct GAP analysis to identify deficiencies or shortcomings in functional and business rules requirements and testing approaches.
- Design functional and regression test cases on an ongoing basis, supporting frequent and rapid changes.
- Execute defined test cases in compliance with�standards to ensure confidence in functional releases.
- Identify and report deficiencies or defects, adhering to escalation processes to ensure accountability and issue resolutions.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and stand-up call the business as required Provide updated information on defects and route cause analysis.

- Develop clear and concise write-ups of all test documents (test plan, test case results, test case summary) after each release.

- Comply with MassHealth s Procedures under SQA s IT Standard Operating Practices and Procedures, including, but not limited to, Methodology, Templates, and Tools, i.e., MA21 Mainframe, MassForge
- Deliver clear and concise communications via emails and MS Teams (chats/meetings).
- Prior experience in healthcare or government setting desired.

- Proven�track record with IBM Mainframes, experience with black box, white box, functional, smoke regression testing.
