Business Development Manager

Talent Corps is growing, and we are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help expand our presence in the Phoenix market. This is a field-based sales role focused on building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting our construction and skilled trades clients throughout the region.

What You'll Do
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and construction industry decision-makers.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings to identify workforce needs and present Talent Corps solutions.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of prospective clients throughout the Phoenix market.
- Partner with recruiting teams to ensure clients receive qualified candidates in a timely manner.
- Conduct jobsite visits and client check-ins to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, service agreements, and pricing discussions with prospective clients.
- Represent Talent Corps at industry events, trade associations, networking functions, and community events.
- Maintain accurate activity and sales records within CRM systems.
- Work closely with operations and recruiting teams to ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 2 years of outside sales, staffing sales, construction sales, or business development experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting for new business.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in staffing, construction, skilled trades, or industrial services is a plus.
