Project Controller – Construction Management
Location: Bridgewater, MA (Headquarters)
Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 annually
Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday
A well‑established, family‑owned construction management firm serving the New England and Northeast region is seeking a sharp and detail‑oriented Project Controller to join its finance and operations team. With over 70 years in the business, this company specializes in a broad mix of building markets—multi‑family residential, senior housing, hospitality, life sciences, corporate offices, educational, and retail projects.
What You’ll Do-
Partner closely with the Director of Operations Accounting, Project Executives, Project Managers, and Superintendents to manage all aspects of project accounting and job costing

Review and approve subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices, ensuring contract compliance

Assist in preparing monthly owner requisitions and ensuring accurate documentation

Ensure subcontractor compliance with contract terms (e.g., waivers, bonds, billing procedures)

Assist project teams with monthly forecasts: validate projected fees, assess percent complete, and update cost forecasts

Process change orders (subcontractor and owner) and job cost transfers in the accounting system (e.g., Spectrum)

Monitor project cash position, prepare monthly cash‑forecast analyses, and track cash flow related to projects

Provide other accounting and project‑finance support as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Construction Management, or equivalent experience

Minimum of five years’ construction‑accounting or project‑costing experience (experience with CCIP/OCIP is a plus)

In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles, internal control, cash management, cost analysis, and job‑cost systems

Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to convey financial concepts clearly to project team members and stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining accuracy and control
