Marine Construction Superintendent - Relocation Available
Location: Northeast U.S. | On-site at Marine Project Locations
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually full benefits
A well-established marine infrastructure contractor is seeking a Marine Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on high-impact coastal and waterfront projects. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in hands-on environments, managing complex marine construction activities such as pile driving, bulkhead installation, cofferdams, piers, docks, and more.
You’ll oversee daily operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, and drive jobsite performance with a relentless focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. If you bring deep marine construction experience and a steady, disciplined leadership style, this opportunity is for you.

Direct day-to-day field operations on marine construction job sites

Lead crews, equipment operations, and subcontractor coordination

Run morning safety meetings and ensure jobsite compliance with OSHA and environmental standards

Oversee marine construction activities including pile driving, concrete work, marine lifts, dredging, and cofferdams

Manage scheduling, equipment mobilization, and material logistics

Maintain and monitor barges, cranes, and other marine assets

Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Quality Control to ensure performance and compliance

Track production metrics, write daily reports, and address project challenges proactively

Mentor team members and uphold a high standard of jobsite professionalism and work ethic

10 years of heavy civil or marine construction experience, including 3 years in a leadership/superintendent role

Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, permitting, and site logistics

Ability to read construction drawings and translate them into field execution

OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred

Excellent communication and crew management skills

Able to work outdoors in all weather and travel to job sites as needed

Experience with coastal permitting, underwater construction, or offshore foundations is a plus
