Overview:
A global law firm is seeking a strategic and dynamic Regional Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead business development initiatives and marketing efforts for its Seattle office. This individual will collaborate closely with firm leadership, attorneys, and cross-office teams to drive visibility, client engagement, and growth in the Seattle market, while also managing business development strategies for an assigned practice group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with office and regional leadership to develop and implement local business development and marketing strategies
- Partner with business development managers firmwide to identify cross-selling and client expansion opportunities
- Manage Seattle office marketing initiatives, including: Maintaining up-to-date marketing collateral (bios, brochures, pitch decks, experience lists)
- Coordinating client events and webinars in partnership with the Events Team
- Identifying and executing sponsorships, memberships, and speaking opportunities
- Lead the development of compelling, customized proposals, RFP responses, and pitch materials
- Coordinate local media opportunities with the firm’s Media Relations team and oversee local legal award submissions
- Manage local submissions to legal directories such as Chambers and The Legal 500
- Support onboarding and integration of lateral attorneys in the Seattle office
- Oversee and manage the Seattle office business development budget; track ROI of initiatives
- Use CRM and experience databases to identify client targets and relevant matters for business opportunities
- Provide support across the broader Business Development team, including coverage during manager absences
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of business development and marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong familiarity with or connection to the Seattle market is preferred
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
- High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to work confidently with partners and senior leadership
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities

Salary: $124,800 – $175,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
