Overview
Partner with attorneys, business stakeholders, IT, Knowledge Management, and external vendors to analyze business needs and deliver scalable technology, workflow, and knowledge management solutions that enhance operational efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and operational challenges across legal and administrative functions
- Translate business and practice group needs into functional requirements for technology solutions, knowledge management initiatives, and process improvements
- Support the design and implementation of knowledge management tools, including practice portals, precedent libraries, experience databases, and matter-centric resources
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled technologies and automation to improve productivity, knowledge sharing, and operational effectiveness
- Assist with the evaluation, testing, and deployment of legal technology solutions, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise system implementations, integrations, governance standards, and data quality initiatives
- Develop process maps, workflows, documentation, training materials, and user guidance to support adoption and change management efforts
- Monitor solution performance, user adoption, and business outcomes, recommending enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 3 years of Business Analyst experience within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of legal workflows, law firm operations, and knowledge management principles
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms, legal technology solutions, process automation, or workflow tools
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to effectively partner with both technical and non-technical audiences in a fast-paced, client-service-driven environment
