What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environment, Health and Safety Manager position at Talent ACQ?
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Professional to support a high-volume food processing operation. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role focused on driving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting daily plant operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and enforce safety programs across the facility
- Ensure compliance with Washington State L&I regulations, OSHA, and company policies
- Support and maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Train employees on safety procedures, policies, and best practices
- Partner with operations and leadership to reduce risk and improve safety performance
- Respond to safety incidents and participate in rotating on-call coverage
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years of experience in Health & Safety
- Strong knowledge of WA State safety regulations (L&I)
- Experience with GMP and food processing/manufacturing environments preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Work Environment:
- 40 hours per week depending on production demands
- Highly active role — up to 15,000 steps per day
- On-the-floor presence required daily (not a desk-based position)
- Must be comfortable working in a food processing plant environment

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
