EHR Engineer

We are seeking an EHR Integration Engineer to join a rapidly growing healthcare technology organization focused on improving operational efficiency and data connectivity across provider networks. This is a full-time position supporting healthcare customers through the implementation, validation, and ongoing management of EHR integrations. The ideal candidate combines strong HL7/FHIR integration expertise with a customer-focused approach, balancing technical problem solving with stakeholder communication. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Job Title: EHR Integration Engineer (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, validate, and maintain EHR integrations between healthcare provider systems and a healthcare technology platform
• Work extensively with HL7 and FHIR-based integrations, ensuring reliable data exchange and seamless workflow connectivity
• Troubleshoot integration and data-related issues, leveraging databases, integration platforms, and diagnostic queries to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and third-party technology partners during implementation and support engagements
• Lead technical discussions and communicate project status, updates, and expectations to both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to improve integration processes and drive successful customer outcomes
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of delivery and customer experience
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience developing, supporting, or maintaining HL7 and FHIR-based EHR integrations
• Experience working with integration engines in a healthcare environment; experience with Rhapsody is highly preferred, though other integration platforms will be considered
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including experience diagnosing data issues and performing root cause analysis using SQL or similar query languages
• Ability to work directly with healthcare customers, vendors, and technical stakeholders throughout implementation and support cycles
• Excellent communication skills with experience leading technical calls and managing customer-facing conversations
• Experience balancing multiple priorities and projects within a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and passion for solving complex technical and data integration challenges
  
  

Compensation

• Base Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience)
• Additional compensation may include bonus and/or incentive opportunities
