What You'll Do
As a Counselor/Therapist, you'll serve as a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team by:
- Providing individual and group counseling
- Completing biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Developing and updating individualized treatment plans
- Helping clients achieve treatment goals and advance through levels of care
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and clinical leadership
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with OhioMHAS, CARF, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 requirements
- Participating in treatment team meetings and clinical collaboration
- Building therapeutic relationships that encourage long-term recovery
Qualifications
Required
- Active Ohio license in good standing:
- LSW
- LPC
- LCDC II
- LCDC III
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
Preferred
- LISW
- LPCC
- LICDC
- Master's degree
- Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, residential treatment, or community mental health
