As we continue to expand and support affiliated companies, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This role will directly support the HR Director and play a critical part in ensuring smooth HR operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
The HR Assistant will serve as a trusted administrative partner to the HR Director, supporting day-to-day operations, compliance, and staff engagement. Responsibilities include:
HR Administration & Recordkeeping
Maintain personnel files, HRIS data, and compliance records in accordance with federal, state, and Medicaid requirements.
Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, and credentialing support.
Monitor training, licensure, and certification renewals to ensure regulatory compliance.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Post job openings across platforms and coordinate candidate communication.
Schedule interviews, prepare offer letters, and support background checks/drug screenings.
Assist with orientation processes to ensure a welcoming experience for new hires.
Payroll & Benefits Support
Assist the HR Director with payroll processing tasks and employee timekeeping review.
Support employee benefits enrollment and respond to staff benefit-related inquiries.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Serve as a first point of contact for staff HR questions, escalating as appropriate.
Track and document employee call-offs, FMLA requests, and leaves of absence.
Support compliance with CARF, OHMAS, DEA, Medicaid, and federal/state employment laws.
Special Projects
Provide administrative and clerical support for audits, inspections, and site reviews.
Assist with multi-company HR functions, ensuring alignment of policies and practices across THS and affiliates.
Support the HR Director with ongoing projects, process improvements, and organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
HS Diploma; Associates degree preffered.
At least 1–2 years of HR or administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
Familiarity with Medicaid regulations and behavioral health compliance preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
