Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients, including routine and complex cases, in both hospital and ambulatory settings.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, CRNAs, residents, and fellows to ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to academic growth and scholarly activities.
• Assist with perioperative management, including preoperative assessments and postoperative care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and research projects as part of the academic team.
  
  

Requirements

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology or actively participating in the certification process.
• Ability to obtain a New York State Medical License.
• Completion of an approved Residency in Anesthesia.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to pediatric care and team-based collaboration.
