Responsibilities

Seeking two qualified Infectious Disease physicians—one focused on general infectious disease practice, including new graduates and upcoming fellows or residents, and the other in a leadership capacity emphasizing inpatient care and team oversight. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient services, especially HIV primary care, alongside light inpatient responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care, including HIV management and PrEP.
- Participate in a shared call rotation of 1:3, predominantly telephonic.
- Serve as a core faculty member involved in teaching and mentoring residents and house staff.
- Engage in leadership activities (for leadership role) to support program growth, policy development, and team coordination.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including nurses, diabetic educators, and case managers.
- Maintain certifications as needed and pursue additional training in HIV or antibiotic stewardship if applicable.
- Contribute to program development efforts funded through recent grants, including support services expansion.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases.
- Strong clinical experience in infectious disease management.
- Prior experience or interest in HIV care, certification preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, cultural competence, and ability to work within a diverse patient population.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish-speaking, are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain or hold relevant certifications, including HIV certification.
- Willingness to obtain HIV certification if not currently certified.
- Leadership experience is desired for the inpatient-focused role.

Salary : $260,000 - $280,000
