Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant III to support our intelligence and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in open-source intelligence (OSINT), fraud detection, and risk analysis. Responsibilities include analyzing open-source data sources, developing analytical dashboards, producing intelligence products, and supporting cross-functional collaborations to identify, monitor, and mitigate emerging fraud schemes across financial and operational channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OSINT analysis to track fraud typologies across online forums, social media, dark web, and other sources.
- Build and maintain fraud indicators, risk scores, and watchlists using internal and external data sources.
- Develop and automate queries, dashboards, and alerts for anomaly detection.
- Generate high-quality intelligence products such as threat assessments, trend analyses, timelines, and geo-spatial heat maps.
- Collaborate with internal teams including audit, investigations, and data personnel to share intelligence and support investigative efforts.
- Provide actionable insights and clear recommendations to leadership, tailored to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in OSINT analysis related to fraud detection.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, SQL, Python, or R.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA, with flexibility for travel and future telework arrangements.
Candidates must be US Citizens and able to travel as needed. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is preferred.
