Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting critical law enforcement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced analytical skills to challenging intelligence data, contribute to national security efforts, and make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in law enforcement data analysis, network mapping, and financial investigations, working onsite in Pentagon City three days a week under a 12-month contract.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education exceeding degree requirements
Clearance
- Ability to abtain a DEA Public Trust clearance required prior to start
Onsite Requirements
- Onsite presence in Pentagon City three days per week
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex law enforcement and drug-related data to identify patterns and connections
- Generate leads and develop investigative leads through network mapping and financial record analysis
- Utilize intelligence tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook, Excel, and other commercial intelligence platforms
- Manipulate and interpret unstructured data from multiple sources and platforms
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations of analytical findings
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills
- 3 years of in-depth knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools
- 2 years of experience manipulating unstructured data from various platforms
- 4 years of law enforcement or drug data analysis experience
- Proven expertise in intelligence analysis, lead generation, and network mapping
- Experience analyzing financial records in support of investigations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with i2 Analyst Notebook and OSINT tools
- Familiarity with law enforcement databases and investigative processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
Nice to Have
- Additional experience with IT, statistics, computer information systems, auditing, or investigative mathematics
- Knowledge of units of measure and related analytical disciplines
- Certification in intelligence analysis or related fields
