Education Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. Candidates with additional technical certifications or training are encouraged to apply.
Clearance Requirements
This role requires an active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one. Applicants must be able to meet the security investigation requirements for access to classified information.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position with some onsite requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support the engineering of DoD afloat network systems, ensuring security and operational effectiveness
- Design and develop cross-domain solutions utilizing technologies such as Radiant Mercury, SOS TSC, or Forcepoint TTC
- Evolve systems with advanced technology solutions to meet mission needs
- Investigate and resolve issues across multiple applications and technologies involving cross-organizational collaboration
- Develop solutions across hardware and software to address security challenges and implement enhancements
- Support system integration and testing activities to ensure compliance with security standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical specifications
- Maintain awareness of emerging cybersecurity threats and incorporate best practices into system design
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, or cross-domain technologies
- 4 years of experience with engineering solutions across technologies, including Radiant Mercury, SOS TSC, or Forcepoint TTC
- Experience with Radiant Mercury or Everfox technology
- Knowledge of network security, secure protocols, and boundary defense architectures
- Ability to develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements
- Ability to investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications and technologies involving multiple organizations
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience with implementing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
- Knowledge of data loss prevention (DLP), content filtering, and malware analysis techniques
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and automated security validation
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CySA , CASP , CISSP, or GIAC
