Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision through cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders promptly, and serve drinks with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall café operations and ensuring timely service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
