Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in creating social media content for marketing of the coffee shop
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the Square POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in the food service industry is preferred, including knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Cash handling experience, including basic math skills for processing transactions.
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
