Pay Rate: $59.85/hr. - $66.90/hr. on W2

Job Description:
- We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing, test framework development, and close collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright for React web applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient test code that integrates seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with software engineers to understand system architecture and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution
- Develop tools and utilities to improve testing efficiency and expand test coverage
- Participate in code reviews for both production code and test code
- Monitor test results, analyse failures, and provide detailed reports on software quality metrics
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
Skills:
- 3 years of experience in software development and test automation
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, JavaScript,
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Interview Process:
- 2 Rounds - 1st - Phone screen - meet with the engineer / manager screen
- 2nd round with be a panel interview / technical screening.
