Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and waitlist management.
- Provide information about menu items and restaurant policies to enhance guest relations.
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering calls for reservations or inquiries.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience preferred, with a strong background in food service and hospitality.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is advantageous.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus, enhancing your ability to manage guest services efficiently.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
