Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring presentation quality and accuracy.
- Assist servers by delivering food orders efficiently and courteously, maintaining positive guest interactions.
- Support the kitchen team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or modifications.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes properly and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders when needed and assist with basic restaurant operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like banquets or large parties.
Skills
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving, food handling, or bussing roles.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations gained through culinary or hotel experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests.
