Big Picture: A Group Sales Associate will be equipped with the best sales training in sports and will work in tandem with a dedicated Group Sales Manager, as the two of you work hand in hand as a great two-member team inside our larger sales team, to sell group tickets and hospitality events. A lot of them.
You will be assisting your Group Sales Manager with cold calling prospective group leaders, business leaders, and community organizations.
Detailed Description:
- Alongside your Group Sales Manager, responsible for growing and expanding existing successful group programs and initiatives
- Responsible for developing new group products and programs, through leads lists, name collection activities, cold calls, networking events, speaking engagements, etc.
- Responsible for selling an array of Tacoma Rainiers ticket packages- including Hospitality events, group tickets, and season tickets
- Responsible for servicing group and season ticket accounts by providing unsurpassed customer service
- Maintain a high standard of integrity and professionalism
- Attend team and community events for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
- Keep accurate sales files, customer service files, call reports, appointment schedule reports, prospects reports, etc.
- Maintain weekly communication on all activity reports with your Group Sales Manager, and supervisors
- Assist with the development of team sales databases
- Assist with sales campaigns
- Network within the local business area to acquire new business.
Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week. Typical ‘off-season’ hours of work will be 9 AM – 5 PM. This position will have ‘in-season’ game day responsibilities, with work hours adjusted accordingly during this time.
