As a General Manager at Taco Villa, you will be the cornerstone of our restaurant's operations, leading our team and ensuring that every customer who walks through our doors experiences exceptional service. Your leadership will be critical in assembling a talented team dedicated to upholding our high standards. You will oversee the financial performance of the restaurant while fostering an environment that promotes growth, productivity, and positive customer interactions. **Key Responsibilities:**

• **Oversee Day-to-Day Operations:** Manage all facets of daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

• **Budget Management:** Maintain budgets, optimize expenses, and ensure financial goals are achieved while managing food costs and labor.

• **Team Development:** Coach and mentor team members, addressing deviations from company standards and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

• **Vendor Management:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality supplies and services.

• **Customer Relations:** Address and resolve any customer and crew member concerns, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.

• **Recruitment and Training:** Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members to help them integrate into the team effectively.

• **Operational Improvement:** Evaluate and enhance both operational efficiencies and financial performance continually.

• **Reporting:** Prepare regular performance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

• **Problem-Solving:** Provide effective and creative solutions to challenges such as profit decline, employee conflicts, and loss of business.

• **Financial Awareness:** Maintain overall financial health by meeting and monitoring food cost, labor goals, and productivity related to P&L management.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

• **Experience:** Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive role, preferably in the restaurant industry.

• **Planning and Budgeting:** Strong background in planning and budgeting with a clear understanding of financial performance metrics.

• **Leadership Skills:** Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence and foster trust among team members.

• **Organizational Abilities:** Outstanding organizational skills with a strong aptitude for leadership.

• **Empathy and Understanding:** Ability to demonstrate empathy when addressing customer and team member concerns.

• **Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to challenges.

• **Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand for extended periods, typically 8-10 hours per shift.

**Schedule:**

This position requires a commitment to a 50-hour work week, with a willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

**Compensation:**
