Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both English and Spanish, establishing a friendly and professional rapport.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos to educate customers and facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling.
- Upsell additional products and services to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting store environment.
- Handle retail store operations such as cashiering, cash drawer handling, and processing returns or exchanges efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries about products, plans, and services with clear communication and phone etiquette.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in environments such as grocery stores or electronics retail.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are required to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising practices, and customer service standards is highly desirable.
- Prior experience with grocery store operations or similar environments will be considered an asset.
