Maintenance Manager

Summary

As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our facility, ensuring optimal performance of all electrical and mechanical systems. Reporting to the Operations Director, your role will involve managing a team, utilizing your expertise in CMMS, schematics, and industrial maintenance. Your strong leadership and management skills will be essential in maintaining safety standards and enhancing operational efficiency. You will also engage in project management and facilities management, contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Oversee the maintenance team and assign tasks to technicians
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Create and maintain maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections

Experience:

-The MM shall possess a minimum of three (3) years of fulltime employment in a position with comparable responsibilities and experience in all areas of maintenance to include systems maintenance, trouble shooting, lock/safe maintenance, and dormitory maintenance within the past five (5) years. The systems shall include plumbing, washing machines, dryers, electrical, pumping systems, freezers, refrigerators, electronic control systems, digital control systems, Heating, and Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, steam system, safes, and locks. The MM shall be able to read, write, speak and understand English and to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical components
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs or improvements
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures in a maintenance environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
