What You'll Do
Process Support & Daily Operations
- Support daily process maintenance to ensure stable, safe, and efficient production operations.
- Assist production teams in meeting output, yield, and quality targets.
- Support the introduction of new materials, products, and equipment into production.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process-related issues in module manufacturing (e.g., stringing, lamination, framing, testing).
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance yield, quality, and efficiency.
- Assist in improving equipment utilization through process optimization and standardized operating practices.
- Organize and support training for operators and technicians to improve machine uptime and productivity.
- SOP, SPC & Process Control
- Revise and maintain SOPs for assigned production processes.
- Monitor SPC data, escalate abnormalities, and support corrective actions to maintain process stability.
- Support yield stabilization efforts across assigned process steps.
- Maintain and optimize existing process parameters to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Smart Manufacturing & Systems Support
- Support intelligent manufacturing initiatives, including industrial vision systems and MES-related process data maintenance.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support process improvement decisions.
- Participate in and complete required technical training programs, including mandatory training assignments in Southeast Asia and China.
- Apply learned best practices to local manufacturing operations.
- Work closely with Production, Equipment, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support smooth manufacturing execution.
- Support audits, line ramp-ups, and engineering change implementation as assigned.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PV module manufacturing processes and materials
- SOP, SPC, and basic process control methods
- Proficient in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Hands-on mindset with willingness to work on the production floor and work in different shift schedules based on work requirements.
- College degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Work Experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in: Solar module manufacturing (preferred), or Semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience as a process engineer, senior technician, or production engineer is preferred.
