T1 Energy is looking to hire a Process Engineer Supervisor who is responsible for supporting and leading the stable operation, technical performance, and continuous improvement of solar module manufacturing processes. This role provides direct floor leadership for process execution, process troubleshooting, yield stabilization, standardization, technician development, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives under the direction of the Process Manager. This position serves as the next leadership step beyond the Process Specialist role by combining advanced process support with people leadership, technical coaching, problem-solving ownership, and continuous improvement execution. The Process Supervisor is expected to lead by example on the floor while developing the technical and professional capability of the Process team in alignment with T1’s forward-looking manufacturing vision.

What You’ll Do
- Process Support & Troubleshooting
- Lead daily process support to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues across module manufacturing operations.
- Support Production in achieving output, yield, and quality targets.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance yield, quality, efficiency, and standardization.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma fundamentals to reduce waste, improve repeatability, and solve recurring issues.
- Support root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys, Pareto, Fishbone, and basic DMAIC thinking.
- Process Control & Documentation
- Maintain and revise SOPs, work instructions, and process standards for assigned areas.
- Monitor SPC and process trends, escalate abnormalities, and support corrective actions.
- Reinforce process discipline and standard work across shifts.
- Yield, Quality & Equipment Support
- Support defect reduction, yield stabilization, and process parameter optimization.
- Partner with Equipment, Quality, and Production teams to improve uptime, process reliability, and product quality.
- Assist with process validation for new materials, products, and equipment changes.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, mentor, and teach Process Technicians and Process Specialists to strengthen technical capability and professional growth.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of team members.
- Help build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement on the floor.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Equipment, Quality, Maintenance, and CI teams to support manufacturing execution.
- Support audits, line ramp-ups, engineering changes, and improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Knowledge of PV module manufacturing processes and materials
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- SOPs / WI development
- SPC and process control
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma fundamentals: 5S, Waste Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, process variation awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Hands-on mindset with willingness to support the production floor and varying shift needs
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in: Solar module manufacturing (preferred), or Semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience as a Process Engineer, Process Specialist, Senior Technician, or Manufacturing Engineer preferred.
