What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Supervisor position at T S Emporium?
· Supervise the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
· Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.
· Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and financial transactions.
· Maintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
· Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management.
· Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
· Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and internal controls.
· Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to enhance team performance.
· Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and reporting.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role.
· Bilingual in Chinese.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Strong leadership and managerial skills.
