Duties
- Safely operate and maintain lawn spraying equipment, including power tools and hand tools.
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other chemical agents following integrated pest management (IPM) principles and safety procedures.
- Conduct confined space entry safety procedures when necessary for specialized applications.
- Follow all pesticide management regulations and handle chemicals responsibly to protect yourself, clients, and the environment.
- Perform lawn care treatments based on client needs, including pest control, fertilization, and weed management strategies
- Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, treatments performed, and safety compliance documentation.
- Communicate clearly with clients about service procedures and safety precautions related to chemical handling and pest control.
- Drive company vehicles responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record; ensure all vehicle inspections are completed regularly.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of pest control techniques, insect biology (entomology), and integrated pest management strategies.
- Familiarity with pesticide handling protocols, respiratory protection equipment, and confined space entry safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, farm machinery, hand tools, and other equipment used in outdoor maintenance.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to ladder use, chemical handling, respiratory protection, and pesticide management.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly to clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely.
