Responsibilities
- Perform lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing using hand tools and power equipment
- Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively to protect plants and turf from pests and diseases
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors or aerators to improve soil health and landscape quality
- Assist with landscaping projects by planting, mulching, pruning, and installing new features
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify issues related to pests, weeds, or turf health
- Use driving skills to travel between job sites efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain all equipment by cleaning, inspecting, and performing minor repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of pest control methods and safety procedures is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for traveling between sites
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, pest control, and farm machinery operation
