Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to clean surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas around the property as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences
- Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor cleaning products, and outdoor work experience is a plus
- Skilled in dusting, surface sanitation, and implementing proper cleaning protocols
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work activities
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
