Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to meet high cleanliness standards.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic environments.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing various flooring types to preserve their appearance and longevity.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Use janitorial equipment properly for outdoor work areas or additional cleaning tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management with strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces and equipment.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and floor care techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Experience in outdoor work environments or custodial roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of dusting, janitorial procedures, and overall housekeeping standards.
