Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to clean floors, surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas as needed.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded.
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with care and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored housekeeping services.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is in good working condition for optimal performance.
Requirements
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care, surface cleaning, dusting, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely and follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and outdoor work when necessary.
- Customer service skills with a friendly attitude to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with janitorial or custodial duties is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
