SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Sr. System Testing Analyst for a HYBRID opportunity in the Columbia, SC area. This candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting comprehensive testing activities across complex enterprise systems. This role focuses on validating application functionality, integrations, and system migrations while ensuring high-quality deliverables through well-defined testing processes and metrics. The analyst will collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to support multiple applications and environments.
Requirements of the Sr. System Testing Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 years of job-related work experience OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and tools
- Working knowledge of:
- Java
- WebSphere
- Windows and other middleware platforms
- DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, VSAM
- Hands-on experience with:
- White-box testing
- Integration testing
- ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
Nice to Have:
- Selenium
- Puppeteer
- Appium
- Experience testing web-based applications
Responsibilities of the Sr. System Testing Analyst
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test matrices
- Create, manipulate, and validate test data
- Analyze application behavior and troubleshoot environmental and system issues
- Support system migration testing efforts
- Review and interpret test requirements, specifications, diagrams, and logic flows
- Validate functional connections and integrations between applications
- Provide testing support for multiple clients, including onsite support when required
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and quality practices
- Track, analyze, and report quality assurance metrics
- Communicate clearly and effectively with project teams and stakeholders
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Columbia, SC)
