Cloud Network Security Engineer – Candidates must currently reside in SC. Onsite first 90 days, then hybrid onsite/remote weekly.
SYSTEMTEC is seeking a senior Cloud Network Security Engineer (not a Cloud Developer!) to design and deliver optimal solutions for large-scale application and infrastructure cloud solutions. This is a high-profile, long-term opportunity requiring an onsite presence in Columbia, SC. Candidates must currently reside in the state of South Carolina.
Required Qualifications of the Cloud Network Security Engineer:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- 5 years of experience in Information Security and Engineering.
- 5 years of experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS/Azure.
- Must hold AWS or Azure certification.
- Extensive cloud security design, operations, and automation experience.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Network Security Engineer:
- Design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures (AWS, Azure)
- Architect VPC/VNet segmentation, routing, and connectivity
- Integrate on-prem networks with cloud environments using VPN, Direct Connect, or ExpressRoute.
- Define network standards and security guardrails.
- Implement network segmentation and zero-trust principles.
Work Location: ONSITE in Columbia, SC
