What are the responsibilities and job description for the EPM Account Executive position at SystemsAccountants?
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business and expand existing relationships for a leading Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) vendor. This individual will play a critical role in helping organizations modernize their finance function through best-in-class planning, consolidation, and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate has experience selling complex enterprise software solutions into Finance (CFOs, Controllers, FP&A leaders) and a proven history of exceeding revenue targets, with recognized advancement!
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for net-new and existing accounts
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to consistently exceed revenue targets
- Engage with senior finance stakeholders (CFO, VP Finance, Controller, FP&A) to understand business challenges and position EPM solutions effectively
- Partner with pre-sales, solution consultants, and implementation teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations and proposals
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner channels, and inbound leads
- Lead contract negotiations and manage deal structure in alignment with company objectives
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility within CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
- Stay informed on EPM market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging finance technologies
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of enterprise software sales experience within EPM or financial systems
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
- Experience selling to finance organizations and understanding of financial processes (planning, consolidation, reporting)
- Familiarity with EPM platforms such as Vena, Prophix, Pigment, Anaplan, Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, or similar
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to navigate long sales cycles and manage multiple deals simultaneously
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
