SystemsAccountants is partnering with a private-equity-backed holding company in the hospitality and retail space to place a Director of Accounting. This is a strategic hire - you'd be joining during a period of finance and accounting overhaul and an upcoming ERP implementation (likely NetSuite). You'll work closely with the PE firm's CEO and therefore will have excellent visibility and decision-making ability.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and finance functions across multiple hotel and retail entities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all entities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures
- Analyze revenue streams, margins, and cost drivers across business units
- Serve as a key finance lead for ERP selection, design, and implementation
- Translate business requirements into system configurations
- Drive process standardization across accounting and operational workflows
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants
- Lead data migration, testing, training, and post-go-live optimization
- Ensure adoption and continuous improvement of ERP capabilities
Qualifications
- Hospitality, specifically hotel, industry experience required
- CPA preferred
- 8–12 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location businesses
- NetSuite experience required; NetSuite implementation experience preferred
Salary : $130,000 - $175,000
