Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Carry out or participate in failure analysis and / or results using quality tools, to find the root cause and take corrective actions
- Oversee quality auditors activity including safety; communicate issues to supervisor.
- Assure the sampling plan described in the control plan is followed during the manufacturing process and the reaction plan executed when a discrepancy is found.
- Follow up on quality notifications issued by auditors and get them to closure.
- Communicate with supervisor, line workers, and other personnel to identify and eliminate road blocks
- Train new employees and coach existing employees
- Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped
- Record inspection results by completing forms, summarizing re-work, and inputting data into a quality database
- Reject all non-conforming product before it ships to the customer
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience of process auditing in a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge on the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge on the use of ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge in the application of quality tools (Pareto Analysis, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Histogram, Stratification, Dispersion, Check Sheets, etc.).
- Basic knowledge in reading and interpretation of blueprints and inspection plans
