Job Summary:
The Grand Opening Marketing Coordinator supports major store launch initiatives by assisting with event programming, coordinating marketing deliverables, and ensuring smooth execution of grand opening activities. This role is vital in driving customer traffic, supporting sales growth, and building brand engagement during new store openings.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and organizing grand opening events for multiple store formats.
  • Coordinate creative assets, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Support vendor communication and manage required documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Store Operations, and Communications.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and field partners to support event execution.
  • Track timelines, approvals, and event milestones to keep programs on schedule.
  • Provide onsite support as needed during event activations.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, retail activation, or a similar role.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects is beneficial.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • Ability to support occasional early morning, evening, or weekend event needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency with common office software and comfort using project management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.

Additional Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in retail, events, or experiential marketing.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and event planning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid schedule with required onsite presence Tuesday–Thursday at the corporate location.
  • Limited travel or schedule flexibility may be required for event support.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
