Position: Program Manager ILocation: Cranston, RI (Part-Time – 20 hrs/week)Remote- with quarterly in person meetingsJob DescriptionWe are seeking a mission-driven and highly organized Program Manager I to support the implementation of a new public health model aimed at improving access to treatment for individuals with rare hematologic conditions. This part-time role works closely with the Project Director to coordinate project activities, manage timelines, engage stakeholders, and ensure progress stays on track.Ideal for a clinical or public health professional, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in rare disease care coordination and access.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Director in supervising project implementation and executionCoordinate meetings, track timelines, and manage project deliverablesFacilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain strong partnershipsMonitor daily project operations and ensure objectives are metAssist in evaluating program outcomes and progress toward benchmarksPrepare project documentation, updates, and reportsOrganize project data and assist with materials for presentations or reportingQualificationsEducation (One or more of the following):Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or a related fieldPlus 2 years of public health project management or healthcare quality experienceRequired Experience & Skills:Background in public health, clinical project management, or healthcare administrationUnderstanding of healthcare access issues, including rare hematologic conditionsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Medicaid or public health program operationsKnowledge of advanced therapeutic access programsExperience in healthcare quality improvement or outcomes measurementExperience supporting grant-funded projectsActive RN, LPN, or RPh license
