A stable and growing manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to lead quality system improvement, resolve customer and manufacturing quality issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Job Description
🎯 Serve as a liaison between customers, operations, engineering, and quality to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Investigate complaints, returns, nonconformances, and internal quality issues.
- Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement.
- Support PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, DOE, and MSA activities.
- Lead/support internal, customer, external, and certification audits.
- Provide quality training and technical support to engineering and production teams.
- Use data and statistical analysis to reduce defects and improve process capability.
⭐ The ideal candidate takes ownership of the QMS, proactively identifies risks, and develops solutions that work on the production floor—not just on paper.
Job Requirements
🎓 Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of manufacturing quality engineering experience.
- 5 years working with manufacturing quality systems and IATF 16949.
- 3 years using statistical quality tools such as SPC, process capability, or DOE.
- 3 years supporting corrective actions, audits, customer quality, and continuous improvement.
💡 Preferred
- Minitab or similar statistical software experience.
- IATF auditing experience/certification.
- PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and Control Plan experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or pursuit.
- Power Automate or similar automation experience.

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
