Job Title – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) – Clinical Educator

Unit – Social Work

Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks

Location – Boston, Massachusetts

Shift – Days, Monday–Thursday, 9-Hour Shifts (On-Call Required)

Guarantee Hours – 36 Hours per Week

Salary Range – $66/hour

Job Duties:

• Provide clinical education, supervision, coaching, and mentoring to social work staff.
• Coordinate onboarding and competency development for new social workers.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, SDOH evaluations, abuse/neglect assessments, discharge planning, and care coordination.
• Perform chart audits, documentation reviews, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop educational resources and promote evidence-based social work practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a clinical resource for department initiatives.
• Float to multiple units as needed and participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts LICSW license (required at submission).
• 5–10 years of Medical Social Work experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Clinical supervision, staff education, documentation review, and coaching experience preferred.
• Experience in an Academic Medical Center, Level I Trauma Center, or Safety Net Hospital preferred.
• Flexibility to float between units and participate in on-call coverage.
