Job Title – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Med/Surg & Behavioral Health
Unit – Medical/Surgical & Geriatric Behavioral Health
Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks
Location – Brockton, MA 02301
Shift – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), Every Other Weekend & Holidays as Needed
Guarantee Hours – 36 Hours/Week
Salary Range – $30/Hour

Job Duties:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, mobility, and toileting
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Support Med/Surg and Behavioral Health patient populations, including geriatric behavioral health patients
• Assist IV team with PICC lines, midlines, PIV setup, sterile procedures, dressing changes, and documentation
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR
• Respond to patient call lights, pages, and unit communication promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked patient care environment
• Participate in patient handoffs, teamwork initiatives, and unit support activities

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts CNA certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital care experience required
• Experience in Med/Surg and Behavioral Health required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have open scheduling availability (no block scheduling)
• Candidate should not maintain another job during assignment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
