S3I is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our F&A team at our corporate HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
Must be a US Citizen. There is no relocation and this is not a teleworking position.
Job Description:
Performs as a key technical expert on Federal contract execution, tracking actuals, projects and risk assessment of contracts. Prepares special reports and financial studies for management. May conduct and lead financial audits.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Deltek Costpoint for financial data access and reconciliations.
- Plan, track, analyze, and report financial status of multiple projects, and, varying contract types, size, complexity, and level of risk execution.
- Work with contract managers with Costpoint PSRs in compliance with FAR/DFAR, CPSR, and CAS regulations.
- Create budgets, compiance reports, and assess trends.
- Financial modeling, forecasting, report preparation and assess health of project.
Conduct and lead internal audits and support federal external audits.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of working knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration along with 8 years of Federal contract finance experience.
- Experience with cost pools and rate development.
- Experience with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) and CAS compliance.
- 8 years of Federal contract pricing experience is a plus.
8 years of Deltek Costpoint experience required.
