Job Title: Senior Software Developer (SDET)
Location: McLean, VA 22102 /Hybrid
Duration: 5 months contract with possible extension
Interview: Face to Face Interview Required.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Solid experience with JUnit and/or other automated testing frameworks; commitment to high test coverage.
5 years of professional software development experience, with strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem (REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, etc.).
2–3 years of experience with Jenkins and JaCoCo technologies
2–3 years of experience with Git in a collaborative, team-based development workflow (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews).
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations.
Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving ability
Manager Notes:
-They do have existing application that is in production over decade and they are making some enhancements to the application and got funding for test coverage
-They are mainly looking for Java proficiency and software development background as proficiency with Junit testing tools
-Java swing would be huge plus
-Resource should be able to develop Java test frameworks
-Client is currently migrating to Java 21
-Jacoco good to have,
-Finance Background would be a plus.
