Job title: Production associate – level I (disassembly, cleaning and inspection)

Location: Commerce City CO / Pay rate: $23.50 per hour / 1st shift

Job summary:

operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, following quality and productivity standards with limited supervision. supports the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines through a rotating role that includes engine disassembly, component cleaning, and part inspection to prepare items for the next stage of production.

Key responsibilities:

health, safety and environmental (hse):

• stop work and immediately report major injury hazards

• report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents or hazards

• comply with hse standards, policies, procedures and regulations

• use appropriate personal protective equipment

• promote a safe work environment by looking out for coworkers

• correct hazards within assigned control and capability

• recognize environmental impacts and work to minimize them

• participate in required hse training

Quality:

• follow standard work instructions, process documentation and quality procedures such as statistical process control, poka-yoke and visual standards

• identify and report issues to reduce cost and quality risks

• perform quality inspections

• identify and control non-conforming materials

Production:

• achieve production goals and meet required cycle times or engineering standards

• maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping and machine cleaning

• perform planned operator care and basic maintenance tasks

• remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed to meet production goals

• collaborate with peers, skilled trades and support teams to identify equipment requiring repair
