Material Control Associate
We are a well-established medical electronics manufacturing company, in business for more than 50 years, based in Aurora, Colorado. We have an immediate need for a Material Control Associate. This is not a warehouse position. Forklift skills and experience are not required.
Job Duties:
- Receive and stock materials.
- Manage inventory utilizing custom software applications.
- Kit and issue materials to production.
- Complete cycle counting activities.
- Prepare and ship finished products.
- Complete data entry of inventory transactions.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills, Traits, and Experience:
- High school graduate or GED (higher education is a plus).
- Understand, speak, read and write English clearly.
- Good or corrected vision – cannot be color blind.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed written instructions.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Take pride in your work and be focused on quality.
- Highly motivated.
- Conscientious, persistent, patient, pleasant, cooperative, and eager to learn new things.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Shipping experience with common carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and production packaging experience a plus.
- Computer / data entry experience a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly base pay range is $19–$24/hr., depending on experience and role, plus a monthly benefit credit of $1,250.00 (equivalent to $7.21/hr). This credit offsets the cost of any selected group health insurance costs — if your monthly insurance cost is less than the credit amount, you keep the difference as additional pay. With the credit applied, total compensation range is $26–$31/hr., depending on experience and role.
