We are looking for a Jr. Snowflake Administrator who supports the cloud data platform by managing users, access (RBAC), warehouses, and basic performance monitoring, often assisting senior staff with tasks like troubleshooting queries, managing data pipelines (Snowpipes, Tasks), and implementing cost controls, focusing on foundational skills in SQL, cloud concepts, and data governance to ensure smooth data operations and reliability. This role would be working within a SharePoint Environment.This role could require once a week meetings onsite - Must be local ( within 2 hours of Pittsburgh, PA ) Key Responsibilities:User & Access Management: Creating/managing users, roles, and permissions (RBAC).Performance Monitoring: Watching query performance, warehouse usage, and identifying bottlenecks.Cost Optimization: Helping implement auto-suspend/resume and right-sizing.Data Pipeline Support: Assisting with Snowpipes, Streams, Tasks, and general ingestion.Troubleshooting: Resolving slow queries, ingestion issues, and pipeline failures.Environment Management: Supporting DEV/QA/PROD environments and configurations.Security: Implementing basic security measures and access policies. Essential Skills:SQL: Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL.Cloud Basics: Understanding cloud data warehousing concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP).Data Integration: Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Tools: Experience with Python, Terraform, dbt (helpful), SharePointPreferred Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions, including websites, applications, and workflows, to meet organizational needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate SharePoint with other systems.Configure SharePoint features to ensure security and performance.Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design.Required Skills:2 years of experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)Experience writing code with C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and PowerShell.Experience with Power BI and Snowflake is highly preferredStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar will be required
