We are looking for a Cost Accountant that has experience within a manufacturing environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and/or QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accounting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Responsibilities:
- This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within metal fabrication, who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and partnering with leadership
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly financial statements
- Manage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Maintain, analyze, and improve accounting records and financial reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare cash flow reports
- Implement rules-based automation for accounting systems, bank reconciliations, and approvals
- Review, enhance, and maintain internal controls for AR, AP, Payroll, Inventory, and Purchasing
- Review and maintain the Chart of Accounts and implement company-wide accounting processes
- Prepare and submit tax filings, including sales/use tax and corporate income tax returns
- Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with management to support operational and financial decision-making
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
